Final Report: Train Derailment near Wellington, KS (Panhandle Subdivision)

On Thursday, September 14th,2023 at approximately 03:30. P.M CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Wellington, KS which has affected the main track. Wellington, KS is approximately 34 miles southwest of Wichita, KS. Main Track one was returned to service on Friday, September 15th, 2023 at 06:45 a.m. CDT. Main Track two was returned to service on Friday, September 15th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. CDT.
